FUNCEDESCRI has friends in many parts of the world, people who chose to come and to share part of their lives, for a few days, months or years, with our staff and with the Mayan communities. Each one of them has left their own mark.
From its beginnings, FUNCEDESCRI has opened its doors to volunteers who hope to show solidarity with the poorest communities of Guatemala, develop their consciousness about the realities of rural poverty and to establish ties of brotherhood with people from all over the world. Moreover, we are more than happy to help volunteers launch specific projects using FUNCEDESCRI as a base. FUNCEDESCRI also enjoys a network of more than 100 former volunteers.
